Finishes, shapes and colours inspired by the nature of mountain landscapes: wood, rock and snow mix together to give life to decisive and elegant nuances.
The Dolomite Mountains are the common denominator and the distinctive trait of MIC frames, both in the choice of colors and in the definition of the shapes. Easily-recognized in the logo, the irregular thicknesses and the modeling of the letters retrace the silhouettes of the mountains, graphically creating a natural micro-landscape.
MIC Made in Cadore, the boldly ambitious design project started by a group of local companies that, under the creative guidance of designer Tiziano Tabacchi and the manufacturer expertise of Immagine98, decided to narrate and interpret the story of the birthplace of Italian eyewear through a new brand and to retrace forgotten pathways to rediscover the purity of the source.
It is a project for a “territorial eyewear brand” that unites various professions that share a great passion: the Dolomites and the craftsmanship of the eyewear created at the foot of these mountains.
We want to talk about it starting from its origins, from its values of craftsmanship, quality and style. And we will be inspired by the land and its natural beauty.
Extremely faithful to the territory, its shapes and colours.
